The Ph.D. Program in Empowerment Informatics holds an information session for prospective students entering in academic year 2015

On July 4, 2014, the University’s Tokyo Campus hosted an Information Session on the Ph.D. Program in Empowerment Informatics (EMP) for new students entering in the 2014 academic year, intended for students of other universities and professionals thinking of returning to school.

The briefing began with an overview of the Program provided by EMP Program Leader Prof. Hiroo Iwata, followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants seemed enthusiastic, actively asking questions about subjects such as entrance exams and exclusive EMP facilities.

After the Q&A session, time was made available for individual consultations, in which Program Leader Prof. Hiroo Iwata, Associate Prof. Kenji Suzuki, secretary-general of the Program, and Prof. Koichi Mizutani, responsible for career support, met with prospective students individually. This provided a valuable opportunity to meet with attendees one to one in a homelike atmosphere.
