Liaison for Environmental Research Facilities tours Empowerment Studio
On Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 25 members of the Liaison for Environmental Research Facilities visited the Empowerment Studio. After program director Specially Appointed Prof. Yuichi Ohta and EMP faculty member Assistant Prof. Yuki Enzaki led the visitors on a tour of the Empowerment Studio and described the devices seen there, they had an opportunity to experience virtual reality through the Torus Treadmill and Rear Dome, a device on exhibit. Participants asked questions about the content of the program and how students take part in their courses, as this tour proved an excellent opportunity to publicize more broadly the program as a whole and the educational and research activities conducted in the Empowerment Studio.
