NHK World will broadcast a report on the Ghost in the Shell REALIZE PROJECT The AWARD, held February 11, 2016.
Works exhibited at this event, and planned to be introduced during the broadcast, include the Cyber Protection Suit, a work by the team Shift, consisting of fourth-year EMP student Ryoichiro Shiraishi, third-year student in the Ph.D. Program of the Graduate School of Systems and Engineering Takehiro Fujita, second-year student in the Ph.D. Program of the Graduate School of Systems and Engineering Kento Inuzuka, and first-year EMP student Rintaro Takashima, winner of the top prize in the REALIZE Hackathon, and the Bionic Scope visual-function enhancement interface system, a work by the team Biomachine Industrial, consisting of fifth-year EMP students Shota Ekuni and Koichi Murata, second-year EMP student Yasunari Asakura, and second-year student in the Ph.D. Program of the Graduate School of Systems and Engineering Akira Uehara.
