Fourth-year student Masa Jazbec delivers invited lecture in UCLA department of Design and Media Arts.
Fourth-year student Masa Jazbec was invited to lecture held on May 11, 2016 in University of Calfornia, Los Angels, (UCLA) department of Design and Media Arts. Her lecture was highly evaluated by the inviter, Professor Victoria Vesna (UCLA).
Professor Victoria Vesna, Department of Design and Media Arts, UCLA, invited me to give a talk at the UCLA art|sci department. I was asked to give a one-hour lecture about social robotics to her students. My talk was held at the UCLA Fowler Museum on Thursday 11th of May. After the lecture we had an interesting debate about humanoid robotics in the society. Students were very surprised by how much robotics has advanced in the last few years.
