A team consisting of Koichi Murata, Shota Ekuni, and Yasunari Asakura chosen as finalists for 2016 Imagine Cup World

In Microsoft Imagine Cup 2016 Japan, held Saturday, April 23, 2016, the team “Biomachine Industrial,” consisting of Ph.D. Program in Empowerment Informatics (EMP) fifth-year students Koichi Murata and Shota Ekuni, second-year EMP student Yasunari Asakura, and second-year student in the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering Akira Uehara, which won the Innovation award for their presentation of “Bionic Scope,” were chosen as finalists for 2016 Imagine Cup World, scheduled to be held July 26-29, 2016 in Seattle.
