Kosuke Sato’s work CarryOtto exhibited during Children’s Day Kasumigaseki.
During Children’s Day Kasumigaseki, an event held July 27 and 28, 2016 at the Cabinet Office of Japan, organized by 24 government ministries and agencies, centered on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, third-year student Kosuke Sato exhibited CarryOtto, a work he helped create as part of a team with students from Waseda and Keio universities. CarryOtto is a modern version of an ancient Roman chariot, for use in a new sporting event developed in cooperation with the Superhuman Sports Society, which aims to fuse technology with sports. About 100 people came to the booth on the event’s first day, and about 80 people came on the second day. Numerous children seemed to be enjoying themselves as they experienced CarryOtto.
