“CHILDHOOD,” a work by second-year students Jun Nishida, Hikaru Takatori, and Kosuke Sato, won the prize in the World Citizenship category at Imagine Cup 2015.

EMP second-year students Jun Nishida, Hikaru Takatori, and Kosuke Sato entered their work “CHILDHOOD” to Imagine Cup 2015, a competition sponsored by Microsoft held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Since on the day of the competition Nishida, Takatori, and Sato were in France, where they had been invited to exhibit their work at LAVAL VIRTUAL 2015, they participated in Imagine Cup via Skype from France, with Nishida making a presentation. First-year PhD students Masahiro Ueda, Takahisa Enomoto, and Naoki Takizawa of the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering set up the exhibit and conducted demonstrations. As a result, the work won a prize in the World Citizenship category.
