“CHILDHOOD,” a work by second-year students Jun Nishida, Hikaru Takatori, and Kosuke Sato, won the prize for its category at LAVAL VIRTUAL 2015.
The work “CHILDHOOD” by EMP second-year students Jun Nishida, Hikaru Takatori, and Kosuke Sato, an innovative bodily transformation device with a hood fully reproduces the world and experiences of a child and which won first prize overall at IVRC 2014 (International Collegiate Virtual Reality Contest), won the prize in the Learning, Sciences & Humanities category at LAVAL VIRTUAL 2015: 17th International Conference and Exhibition of Virtual Technologies and Uses. Held in Laval, France April 8-12, 2015, LAVAL VIRTUAL is Europe’s largest event exhibiting state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies as well as interactive media works.
