Third-year student Aisen Carolina Chacin invited to exhibit her work “Scent Rhythm” at Culture Interface: Numerique et Science Fiction

Third-year student Aisen Carolina Chacin’s work “Scent Rhythm” is an invited exhibit at Culture Interface: Numerique et Science Fiction, held November 3, 2015 – August 14, 2016 in Saint-Étienne, France.

I was invited to participate with my prototype watch, Scent Rhythm, in the exhibition Culture Interface: Numerique et Science Fiction-Curated by Nicolas Nova at The Cité du Design, St Etienne, France. (Link: http://www.citedudesign.com/fr/actualites/280915cultureinterface)

This exhibition was a broad survey of computer interfaces post-keyboard / mouse. My work was displayed among the Smart Watches section along the apple watch prototype, the casio calculator watch, the Nike / apple Fuel watch and the smart Swatch watch. This was a great honor, and I’m proud that they used the Tsukuba University logo next to my name. Other interfaces included interactive gloves, EEG headsets, wand controllers, headsets such as google glass, and other new maker interfaces such as the Makey Makey.
