2017年9月27日に、筑波大学主催のつくばグローバルサイエンスウィーク2017 [TGSW]において、異なる学位プログラムのメンバーで構成された、4年次生Alberto Boemさんを含むグループが、「Work / Paper awarded for: Internet of Things: interdisciplinary applications and social perspectives」について発表し、Best Poster, Best Presentation Awardを受賞しました。
Tsukuba Global Science Week is a platform for sharing results of transdisciplinary research.A group led by Arvin Valderrama was awarded with the Best Poster Presentation. The presented research tries to discuss possible social applications of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. As a case study, the JP Bus Go is presented. JP Bus Go is a prototype for a low-cost device that can enable people to check the status of public transportation and connect with it.
